Update
We were delighted to be a part of the publication of Peter Rawnsley's last book of poems.
The Book was launched on Sunday 26th July in Plimmerton, at a happy celebration of Peters literary life. We did not know that it was to be the last time that he would be in public.
Sadly Peter passed away on the 28th August 2026. Consequently we gave all our copies of the book to the family and mourners as the final act in Peters life. He was a delightful man, with a wide range of interests and enthusiasms for life.
His beautiful eulogy was accompanied by pictures of him in nature and on the beach at Karehana bay. This was his most happy place and why his poems so often invoke nature themes. We were privileged to know Peter and his family in a private capacity as friends. He is already sadly missed.
